We love cheesecake, and really are head over heals with our New York style cheesecake.
To prepare the cheesecake for serving, unwrap the frozen cheesecake, place on serving plate and rewrap it in a fresh layer of plastic wrap—the old plastic may contain ice crystals which can melt and make the cheesecake wet in appearance Thaw the cheesecake in the refrigerator to an internal temperature of about 4°C (we recommend overnight).
When you're ready to serve, remove the plastic wrap, spread the topping evenly over the top and then serve. Our frozen cheesecakes come with the topping in a separate container.
If you haven't had a New York style cheesecake, it's rich, dense, smooth and has a creamy consistency, and tall! It's made in a springform pan with a cookie base and baked long and slow. It's eaten either plain, with sweetened sour cream top, or with toppings.
Our 9" New York style cheesecake can serve 10-12 people, depending on the size of the slice.
